I have 2 new cell phones on Sprint. The coverage is CRAP in my 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. Outside the door, it’s fine. I don’t know why but it seems that most cell companies don’t work in here. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good signal booster or extender that works well under $150 for the 2 phones? Thanks.

i must be picking up a signal through the neighbor’s internet connection. most of the time my signal reads “very low” and it causes the internet to work poorly. I’m picking up a signal from this area but it’s weak. Can I use an antenna or some kind of booster.

Running cables downstairs would be very difficult. Looking for options to strenghten signal so laptop and son’s computer will have strong signal.

Well to make a long story short, my mom decided to drop our dial up connection and buy a wireless aircard… The only problem is that we live in the middle of nowhere and the signal is usually worse than our old 24k connection… I looked on the internet for “Wireless signal boosters” but the ones i found cost about 200 dollars! Sorry but my mom is very poor and couldn’t likely afford that. So is there any way that i may be able to boost the signal with some device or method?
Also if you tell me to build a antenna or something please give me a link to the instructions.

I’m trying to get on Xbox Live with the wireless network adapter, but the signal I get from my dish is always very low, should I buy a second separate router for my side of the house (the router has to be on the opposite side) or get a signal booster so I can get on?

i live in a guesthouse behind the main house. we had cable, but we had to pay for service inside the house and the guesthouse. we switched to dsl and now pay for just one service inside the house. we set up the wireless router in the main house and my laptop picks up the signal, but its fairly weak. how can i increase the signal to my laptop? i’m not good with electronics so can someone recommend a good signal booster/antennae/wireless router that can help?

What can boost my wireless signal? I have a wireless router upstairs and ethernet cables running through the walls to go downstairs. Is there any device i can plug an ethernet cable from the router into and therefore boost my signal strength. The problem is that the signal from upstairs is not strong enough for a good connection upstairs. My overall aim is to have complete wireless upstairs, by the wireless router, and downstairs.
